I actually made this one last month but this is the first chance I've had to blog it. I've used another one of the fab Changito images Michelle sent me and the launch sketch from the Friday Sketchers blog. I think at the time there was also a wedding themed challenge on one of the other blogs, but I forget which one now.

Another week since I've blogged - I just haven't had time to craft again this past week. With that in mind I thought I should get a head start on my cards for June this evening. My friends' second wedding anniversary is on the 10th and I just had to use this cute image Michelle S sent me! The card I made them last year was quite pink so I decided to try something different this year, and pulled out some red and black cards and papers for Katherina's sketch. The white panels ended up looking a bit too bright and stark against them, so I've shaded them with some grey chalk. I've strayed from the sketch slightly, moving my sentiment panel to the left and using only one button where the sketch has indicated 2 embellishments - I guess I could argue that the twist tie counts as two lol!

It's been ages since I've been able to do one of the Papertake Weekly challenges so I decided to use this week's theme of lilac and lime as a starting point for this image holder card I needed to make. This will be winging it's way to the lovely Michelle who writes the Card Grotto blog

This is a birthday card for my friend Helen (bet you couldn't guess that lol!) for which I have used the latest Bella Sketch Challenge (#28) and the current Cardvaarks Hot! challenge. Sorry it's a pants photo - I had to take it at night and the flash kept bouncing off the black labels - the top one reads YOU ROCK btw
